So i was just about to buy all of my watercooling components and then i thought just to be safe i'll do this so i got some qustions about EKWB Ek-ekoolant evo uv blue

1: It is a nano fluid right so i wont need any biocide or anti corrosive or anthing right?

2: Since it is colored is it true that it's gonna gunk up because many people say it's a myth and some have evidence of it happening!

3: How often should i drain my system???

If you need more info check out my post "900d water loop".

Blastoise. There, I found a catchy title.

As for the other questions, sorry, I'm not sure.

1. I think that nano fled shouldn't require biocides.

2. Gunking up tends to be a problem with bad colouring agents, that stuff should be good quality.

3. Drain it if its looking grimy. Maybe once a year otherwise if you feel so jubilant, but thats probably not necessary.

When in doubt, re-format.

what i mean was every two months and apparently bimonthly can mean once every two months or twice a month wtf. anyways once a year would probably be fine also

Usually 6-12 months is the maximum for most fluids and it needs to be changed, and a nanofluid doesn't mean it's a biocide automatically it just means it's a homogeneous solution which are the Pastel or opaque style of fluids.

Let me get this straight so i don't have to put in some biocide or anything and change the fluid every 6 months or so?

Yep but that's only for premixed or concentrated fluids like the EKWB you were mentioning where they come with all the biocides included. If your using distilled water you will need to add a biocide or silver coil.

1) Our coolants (premix or concentrate) already contains all the biocides and inhibitors needed to protect your loop

2) The gunk is usually a result of a plasticizer issue from the contact of the coolant with some soft tubing and not the colored coolant itself.

3) We recommend to flush the coolant once a year but it could even stay in your loop longer than that.  I currently have a loop with an almost 2 years old coolant in it in one of my rigs ;)
