980ti Strix annoying light?

Can anyone tell me if the ASUS 980ti Strix has the same annoying light on it? (the one you can't turn off in the bios and will continually be on unless the PC is shut off at the power supply)   I have the 980 with this same annoying light I described, and I cover my rig every night before going to sleep because of that (it's in my room for... reasons). I have some spare change and was looking to get a second card to SLI, but if the STRIX 980ti doesn't have this light, I'd probably sell my 980 and upgrade to that, it'd be about the same I'd take a slightly less powerful performance boost (that's still a boost) rather than putting in a 2nd annoying light.

Electrical tape is your friend...

It makes the XFX Gaudy Faceplate of Fail look nice. not to mention that it is the exact same width.
