How do i fix an exploded graphics processor

so i was do my thing then my graphics card processor exploded (didn't have a heat sink on at the time) i was wondering if any one new how to fix it? :P

 

 

Update: im just trollin i ripped it of with some metal and burnt it with a lighter but i was wondering if you could fix it i thaught unlikely or impossible xD

You can't fix this.

That's the main (and most expensive) part of the graphics card, so just buy a new one.

Anyway, it's definetely not a good idea to use a graphics card without a heatsink.

Your warranty should be voided if you removed the heatsink.

Nah it looks like a delidded CPU thats been hit with a blowtorch

No, you can't fix a GPU that is fucked. The silicon is useless and according to your photo, it's obviously completely unfixable.

Okay here's what you do: Get  a decent size tube of thermal paste. This will help with heat output and work a bit like glue.

Apply Thermal paste to the backside of the gpu chip itself.

Apply the gpu chip to the pcb in it's original position.

Apply thermal paste to the heatsink.

Apply the heatsink to the top of the gpu/ pcb combo.

Let sit for at least two hours, or until you can shake it and nothing falls off. Should something fall off, see above steps.

Apply the gpu to the trash can.

Do your favorite victory dance.

only if that was a GPU, that core die is too small I place my bet on mobile core2duo or any dual core laptop cpu.
