Same Graphics Cards but too builds ($700) Difference

Which is better to go with?

6700K - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xwjB3C

5960X - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/GJRYGX

I think i'm going with the 5960X, but before investing my money I want to make sure everythings A-okay.

So which one do I go with and should I do any upgrades to either of the builds?

Thanks

Get the 6700K build and spend the rest on a better monitor/peripherals. Also the power supply is way overkill. You won't need more than 850W.

I don't like 2D games...I just couldn't get into them.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

More like an 800$ difference, cause you put two H110i GTs into the first build...

Why do you need a 5960X? If you are only gaming, honestly it's a waste, if you do light editing/PS/adobe/rendering/streaming, a 5820k would be plenty, the 5960x makes sense if you are a content creator or along those lines, you will see zero benefit in gaming compared to a 5820K or a 6700K. If it came off rude, it's odd that you are asking between those chips, they are totally different. There are middle options.

I'm getting the same peripherals no matter what, just need the better setup for the PC its self (getting Corsair K70 and All that stuff + 1 4K monitor and two 1440p with the same reaction time and 144Hz

The best technically is the 5960X, but for 400 bucks you can get a 5820K which will do...identically in games, great for streaming, and you save 600 bucks. Can't say how much better the 5960X is, but i can say that light workloads or streaming are too little for that CPU, a 5820K would be more apropiate and handle anything you throw at it perfectly. That said, if you want the 8 core beast and you don't mind spending extra, go ahead, i just don't see the point unless you do lots of CPU bound heavy tasks.

an i5 would be all good for 4K, it's about the graphic power, not the CPU, and you are getting 2 980 tis, so, really, really good.

He is doing an X99 build with 2 980 ti HAF from galax, i'd say chances of him expanding further more are likely.
