This RAM + mobo good?

So, in plans for a fairly ballin' old-school-meets-new-school build which is in the works, I am on the search for parts. One of which is a wackton of RAM. So... Here's the board: http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/P3/VIA/P3TDDE.cfm

And here's the RAM: http://www.ebay.com/itm/4GB-4X1GB-PC133R-333-542-Z-HB52RF1289E2-75B-133MHz-ECC-REG-RAM-/171360301204?hash=item27e5deb094

Now, in theory this combo should be good since the board does support ECC unbuffered RAM. but I just want to make sure since I'm already up to almost $100 in parts for this freaking monster.

if your processor also supports ECC ram sure

The memory controller wasn't in the CPU in those times... according to the MB's manufacturer he's safe

This is a signature.

That depends on the memory controller, in the latest architectures the IMC was moved from the NB to the CPU (well, intel directly removed it by integrating things into the CPU) so that's why in new CPUs you've to look if it supports ECC or not.

This is a signature.

Man, if that was the pentium pro socket I could have given you the CPU's AND the power adapters.

So this is for your dual pentium III build you mentioned in your room tour?

Um... No? Is that the right answer? :P
