Please do not buy GT cards, they are horrible for gaming, pretty much anything is better, even older gen proper "gaming" cards is better.

 

Please post budget and usage, do you use a 1920x1080 monitor ? or maybe 2560x1440 ,ect,ect we need more info to properly answer this question.

What is your current build looking like ?, if you are using a site to build / order your rig it would be easy to see what it comes down to without graphics card.

 

I.E how much are you spending currently without the graphics card.

The GT series are meant for media use NOT GAMING. You could if you want but don't expect playing on anything but low 720P and under. Look for a 660+,750+,950+ or above cards.

Even a 500 series low end GTX card would beat the 740.

An i5 might be overkill for light gaming. 1000 euro budget certainly is. Here is an i5 system that will play GTA V pretty damn well and come in significantly under budget.

You probably don't want to go any lower than the GTX 960 for GTA V. And the GTX 960 murders the GT 740 for gaming performance.
