PS3 if I'm not mistaken is around $300 (according to Amazon), it's possible but not easy to plan.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Get second hand:

- core2 quad.

- 4gb's ddr2 ram

- a compatible LGA 775 motherboard

- HDD

- Case

- PSU (Get a new one or a good second hand one)

- 750ti or better

I actually had a build with monitor and everything for a friend which had an A10-7870k for about 500 CAD.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

for the price of a ps3 you will get a pretty shitty gaming pc, sorry but your brother is right, unless you do something like scrapyard wars and buy everything used and ghetto build it.
