There are soft cloth and hard (of various material) mousepads. I prefer a hard mousepad as I can glide easier and cleaning is less of a hassle though the pros seem to generally prefer a soft mousepad. You'll see different gliding speeds on either one, usually faster on harder ones which is not as good for low-sensitivity gaming. However it is completely up to you.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I use logitech g440 hard mat. Love it.
I also use furniture polish on it once a month, yeah it may sound stupid but it gives it an amazing glide :)

i prefer soft mousepad. but theres a rough version and smooth version of the soft mousepad

whats the difference ? im a low sensitivity gamer. cant i use smooth and set it even lower sensitivity

or use rough ?

which brand is good for soft mousepad (fabric)

im using razer goliathus control at the moment

so i want to make things clear low dpi ( low sensitivity ? ) so should low dpi paired with control or speed ?

I just bought a Asus ROG GM50 and can raccomend it. It's the perfect size for me (380mm x 280mm) and pretty understated with the colouring. The rubber bottom works well to prevent movement of the pad, the edges of the pad are braided to make it sturdier agains wear and the mousing surface has a good mix of speed and control. Plus it's not immensly overpriced for the features.
