I have a question......... (SSD)

Go to solution Solved by STRMfrmXMN,

I have a laptop on which I upgraded with a Samsung 850 Pro 256gb SSD. I want to put a fresh install of windows on it because I'm moving it to my new high end gaming build. If I put a fresh install could it harm read and write speeds and shorten the life of the SSD

Please answer..

Thanks

SSDs can do hundreds of TBs of data before dying. Usually performance is affected after about 30TB of writes though it varies.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
