So my friend @lPreM has dual GTX 770s and has been having SLI issues.

Computer specs:

MSI X99 Krait

i7 5830K

16GB DDR4 RAM

PSU with enough power

Windows 8.1 64-bit

What has been done:

Drivers erased, Drivers re-installed, Drivers refreshed.

Made sure cards are in Slot 1 & 2

Made sure SLI bridge was on.

What the problem is:

Control panel (Nvidia) does not want to show SLI.

What can I do next. I have run out of options.

Read OP

I did but if the bridge is not pushed down all the way there can be connection issues which would stop SLI from being enabled.

It has been re-seated 3 times. On both slots.

Does it work if he completely disables onboard graphics? Be careful doing this of course. You can clear CMOS if shit hits the fan.

Honestly I've no idea how an MSI's board BIOS looks like.

Should be enabled under "Peripherals" or something the like I would think.

BTW: Windows detects both GPUs. And under Peripherals there is "SATA and LAN stuff"

Okay if Windows detects them both and SLI bridge is connected, that must be a driver issue. Dunno what you can do about it though.

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

Updated the drivers manually and through GeForce experience.

I know this is a common problem with Windows 10, not sure with Windows 8.1.

Let's call in Mr. @ionbasa - he's smart.

There is this on the screen

PEGO1: Auto

PEGO2: Auto

PEGO3: Auto

All were PCI settings. I have told him to set all three to PCI Gen3.

Rebooting and trying again.
