What should I choose

I am looking to upgrade from the reference Nvidia GTX 970. My systems color scheme is green and black so I was looking at the MSI GTX 970 100me but there are just so many options and im a little overwhelmed. I am open to modding a graphics card to make it fit my color scheme, just looking for some opinions on what direction I should take. Also I am not set on a 970 I can go to really any graphics card just looking for some options. Thanks everyone!

Im looking for a non reference gpu as im looking for just simply a faster card with a better cooling solution.

The difference between a reference and a non reference 970 isn't worth the hassle of selling, or returning or whatever you'll do with the old one.

Well also you know the want to always upgrade thinking about a 980ti as well.
