So recently i have been having problems with my front panel audio whereby i have to wiggle the audio jack around and put it in a position where it is not fully in other wise only the left channel has sound (oh by the way i have an Antec 302) Antec do supply replacement parts from their website but seem to not have any for my case so what i'm asking is can i fix it and how, what might have caused this and is their any replacements that i might be able to source i've tried the front panel audio jack with multiple earphones but still the same result, i have also tried the rear io audio ports which work fine so i have isolated it to the audio port i have resaeted the front panel audio connector multiple times for it to yield the same result so please help.

I would try contacting Antec to see if they can offer you the replacement part.

Should i just email them telling them the problem and see if they will send me a replacement for free or how much it will cost?

I would contact them through here: http://www.antec.com/index.php?page=support_online

Yea you should tell them the problem and maybe take a few pictures of it to see if they can offer you a replacement. If it is out of warranty, you may have to pay for the replacement.

In our family computer we had a similar issue. I opened it up and took the PCB with the ports out then there's just a piece of metal visible from the outside which connects to the middle section on the jack. Just push it down with a paper clip or something (or your fingers but it's a bit awkward from what I remember) and you should be done. (I know I've done a really bad job of explaining this. it's midnight and I'm not thinking straight).

I think they just want the proof of purchase so they can see if the warranty is expired and that you just bought it. As long as you have the same address and your case in under warranty it will be fine imo.
