Snowball. Awesome mic for like 80$. Have had it for about two years now and I love it.

Frost upon these cigarettes.... lipstick on the window pane...

Budget? are you in a quiet environment?

 

Blue Yeti / AT2020 are great mics, but if you are in a noisy environment they can suffer

 

Shure SM7B / Rode podcaster are better in noisy enviroments due to being dynamic mics, but they are more expensive

AT2020 is a fantastic microphone. Coupled with a cheap $15 boom and a pop filter it sounds pretty good.

IMO go dynamic, also has headphone monitoring - should sound better than the yeti/snowball/at2020, and be more forgiving with background noise etc

Mxl 990 is a really good mic. Better than the at2020. I have used both.

 Just because you don't care, doesn't mean other others don't. Don't be a self-centered asshole. -Thank You a PSA from the people who do not say random shit on the internet.
