I'd say that cpu is a bit overkill. What will you be using it for?

My Build: i7-4790K, 212 Evo, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB DDR3-1600, Intel 730 240GB SSD, WD Blue 1TB, EVGA GTX 980Ti ACX 2.0, NZXT H440 Blue/Black, EVGA 650W 80+Gold.

Most of the time, it's not the computer, it's the person using it.

I don't know too much about streaming, as I've never done it myself, but I would say getting an i5 and then something like the gtx 980 would serve you better.

Heres my Budget pc build tell me if i should change anything!

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WFFJdC

Drop the CPU to an i5 and up the GPU to a 980.

Whats the color scheme? You have a gold Motherboard, a red GPU and a white case.. If you want to go Red/Black i suggest getting an MSI/ASUS ROG motherboard, and changing the case to a black one.

Quote me if you want me to see your message. Like my post if it helped. Click "Show More" to see things that I use.

Desktop (2014): CPU: Intel Core i5 4690k @ 3.50GHz | GPU: MSi GTX 970 Gaming 4G | Motherboard: MSi Z97 Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x4GB G.Skill RipJaws X 1600MHz + 2x4GB HyperX Black 1600MHz | SSD: Samsung 750 Evo 120GB | HDD: WD Black 1TB | Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212x | PSU: Corsair VS650 | Case: Cooler Master Elite 431 Plus | OS: Windows 10 Home

Gaming like wow/lol watching streams/streaming my self

WoW and LoL don't need a 970 worth of power, and that cpu is super overkill for that.

Just get an i5 4460 and like a 960, just so you can have headroom, because even than will be overkill.

Yes that cpu can be overclocked, but id still go with the 980 so if you wanted you could play some more demanding games

That's a Budget PC ?

... Life is a game and the checkpoints are your birthday , you will face challenges where you may not get rewarded afterwords but those are the challenges that help you improve yourself . Always live for tomorrow because you may never know when your game will be over ... I'm totally not going insane in anyway , shape or form ... I just have broken English and an open mind ...

I don't think the liquid cpu cooler is completely necessary, I think the Hyper evo 212 would serve you fine. Also, I'd go with a nvidia card, but that's just my preference

i5 + gtx 980

i5 + Fury (non X).

costs about the same as a good custom PCB 980. Runs faster out of the box. Can also be overclocked. Possibly able to unlock it to Fury X (if lucky)

  1. cpu is g2g
  2. get the corsair h100i gtx instead
  3. get the z170-p instead as it has ddr4 capabilities, might as well use it
  4. get ddr4 ram
  5. ssd is g2g
  6. hdd is g2g, although i would get a hybrid drive "sshd" instead
  7. get the 390 or a 980 instead of the 970
  8. your case is nice, but it has a ton of flex to it. get a fractal arc xl instead
  9. psu is not very good. get a gs or g2 from evga instead
  10. get noctua fans instead. nf-f12 pwm for radiators and nf-s12a pwm for case ventilation

edit:
