(Facer on Moto 360) How to Center Watchface Elements?

When making a digital watchface for my Moto 360, I can never properly center the time. This is because setting the alignment to center, left, or right does not do what I want it to (aligns the edge of the text instead of the center) and when I use x offset, it moves when the size of the text changes with the time. For example, if I make the watchface while it is displaying 1:00PM, it will be offset when the time changes to something of a different size like 11:11AM. How does one fix this?
