Does anyone know which sata cable slot (1, 2, or 3) in my PSU I should plug my WD Green hard drive into and can I hook up my SATA III SSD with the same cable if the answer is SATA III?

This is the drive I'm using:

Hey there Stoiseblas,

You should be fine with either of them. Both the WD Green and the SSD should work fine, as @Rohith_Kumar_Sp pointed out.
If you are talking about power cables that go from the PSU to the drive, the cable is the same for all SATA-type drives.
If you are asking about the SATA cables and ports on the motherboard, it wouldn't really matter for the WD Green as it can't fully utilize either the SATA2 or the SATA3 port. :)

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^
