Info about the Fan Meetup?

Does anyone know anything more about the meetup than what Linus said in the Surveillance video? Do you need Canadian money to buy stuff at the garage sale? When will we find out the address? Should I bring Turnips? These are important questions that need to be answered.

Bring swimwear, spare underwear and a towel. 

 

Payments for items in the sale can be made in likes on Youtube. (But yes, you will need Canadian money, as it's in Canada....)

cash money is cash money. Also, the Dollar is stronger than the Canadian Dollar.

While that is true, using Canadian would be better as it would be a pain to sort out exchange rate

Never travelled to foreign country, I assume? I guess thats more common in US/CA than in Europe. Before euro, all we did was exchange money. Sometimes both USD and local currency since USD is the easiest to exchange.

Yeah lots of places accept the USD, mostly neighboring countries like Mexico and Canada but the UK used dollars until 2002 I think

Yeah lots of places accept the USD, mostly neighboring countries like Mexico and Canada but the UK used dollars until 2002 I think

The pound took a little bit of getting used to. Most of the time I just held out both palms and said I'm still learning your money.
