I've been reading all about zotac and looking at pics of 770s and 780s they are just gorgeous how in the world is zotac not popular in America it's nvidia sapphire with amazing service.

You're talking about the black and orange cards, right? Not a very popular colour theme even though I love it myself. Besides, Zotac's based in Hong Kong so it's kind of strange to US customers as to why it's so cheap for an unknown product. Similar notion as to Galaxy; but they're making a better name for themselves now. Tada.

well how did sapphire out do zotac they are siblings maybe the range of cards the color scheme is nice it's not heavy on the orange and a Matt black shroud uhhhhhg nerdgasm , and even the base stock versions can overclock almost better than the cards oced from the factory I'd love to see zotac get very big. The best isn't always the most expensive and that's what I love about PcPartner.

Recently, Zotac is the most popular brand for Nvidia card in my country especially their 760 AMP!, 770 AMP! and 780. They're cheaper and with good aftersale. Nobody buy Asus or MSI here anymore i guess.  :lol:

indeed I wanted them to have a 770 amp 4gb but I don't think it really matters as I do believe they are fully voltage unlocked. Edited by AMD_Nemesis

When buying an nVidia based product I have a hard time NOT going eVGA. 

 

Back when the 7900GT was out I had overclocked my card way way WAY beyond spec and fried it. I knew it, eVGA knew it. But they still RMA'd it. They sent me another card without receiving mine first....but I ran into a few shipping errors and problems and ended up not receiving my card from them for a few weeks. The problem turned out to be a UPS error. eVGA sent me another one overnight.

 

But it gets better....

 

The first original card they sent me arrived later on after I got the second one that they overnight'ed. I informed eVGA and you know what they told me? Keep it for my problems.

 

Granted this was years ago...but man when I buy another nVidia card it will be really tough for me to consider anything else. I really want to buy Galaxy's white PCB cards but eVGA's customer service experience has really impressed me. When I went to ATi I was pretty hesitant because of losing eVGA as a company.

 

Just thought I would share this here....sorry no experience with Zotac.

Well I looked at RMA experiences and a guy got a gtx 480 !! Because they lost his 275 and I believe they give lifetime warranties at the moment for 7xx.

ZOTAC cards are great, bought two 770's which are both OC'ed to 1300mHz core and 7900Mhz memory. :D

BRAIN: intel i5 4670k @ 4.0 ghz stock voltage. GPU: ZOTAC GTX 770*2, both @ 1300mhz core 7900mhz memory.

CPU = A10 6800K (@4.3Ghz) / GPU = HD 8670D (@844mhz/ram@1866mhz) - 2016 ≠ Dual Cores - why learn Linux ? - OLD intel x4 cpu (Q6600) + amd HD 7950 - this is what i think on watts x dollar cost - CPU "bottlenecks" only start to show "at the super high end cards" (like the 390) if you have a 4 cores CPU

I'm ordering my 780 on Monday.  It will be eVGA.  Reason being, I will be water cooling it and their warrantee covers it even if I do that and cook it.  I've used eVGA, MSi, and Asus cards and have never had a problem with any.  But as far as I know there are no other companies that offer a warrantee as extensive as eVGA.

This was my first GPU purchase for a custom desktop, however I did own an Alienware laptop with AMD crossfire.  I decided to go with EVGA after reviewing all of the cards, including customer reviews and online articles.  Not only do I enjoy the clean custom cooler on EVGA's ACX 780, but also how quiet the fans are when running.  Not to mention the EVGA Precision is a neat program to overclock and set a custom fan curve.
