Hey guys, I am really new to this forum so yeah. I animate and do YouTube. I am currently in highschool and after highschool me and a bunch of friends are planning to move in with each other and make a YouTube recording house. I was wondering of this rig would be okay for video editing and C4D and After Effects:

CPU: AMD FX 9590
MOTHERBOARD: Asrock Fatality Performance 970
RAM: 16 Gigabytes of Kingston ValueRAM
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 ACX 2.0 (The one with the dual fans)
Power Supply: Corsair CX800i Modular Power Supply
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i AIO Watercooler
Drive(s): Kingston 128GB M.2 SSD , Western Digital 3TB Black Hard Drive
Case: Fractal Design Define R5 (Black, Window)

It should be fine for now if you're not going to do anything too intense.

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

Go with Intel, much better performance.

Go for a Quadro instead of the 960.

I would definitely switch out the CPU. The 9590 is a hot, power hungry, old CPU. Something like a Xeon E3 1231v3 or 1241v3 would be a better option.

I really wouldn't recommend getting the 9590, its produces so much heat and requires so much power. You would be better off going for a 4790k or if you can, an x99 system.

Post a budget :P

OP, the 9590 is AMD's hangman's noose for the time being. Go with a Xeon instead. You will thank us down the road.

9590 needs 990FX mobo, otherwise with a 970 mobo (and the CX psu)...
