960 vs 970

I can't decide what to upgrade from my GTX 750ti

Should I go with the GTX 960 4gb DDR5 for $250 or spend $100 more and go with the GTX 970 ACX 2.0 FTW

Go with the 970, it's worth the extra cost (provided you have a decent CPU and other components). 

 

Or you could go for something like a 380X/290, which is somewhere inbetween them.

Get the 970, it's worth it. The 960 is a decent jump from the 750ti, but not a huge one. On the other hand, the 970 is a massive leap above the 750ti.

you should go for the 970 it's really worth it. or better yet, 390; that if your psu has the right power and you don't mind the extra heat and power consumption.
