Good short ethernet cable

Hi guys! I need a short (0.5m) ethernet gigabit cable but I really don't know what to get. Have any suggestions? I'd prefer it to be cat 7 over cat 6 but cat 6 is fine too.

Literally any ethernet cable will work.

A cat 6 or 7 cable will not increase your speed unless you have over 100Mb internet. They are pointless for most consumer applications.

no....at 1.5 feet it makes no dif.

cat 6 and 7  are just more insulated. 

you need like 100ft+ to notice.

You won't really benefit unless you have a badass router and a NAS at home

NO reason at all for cat 6. Is it cheap enough, sure. But the most anything in your house will need is cat 5e. 5e is still gigabit, and no router or ethernet port on your PC will be more than gigabit. Cat 6 is rated for gigabit over a longer distance, but since you are talking short, and I mean REALLY SHORT, there will be 0 difference. Cat 5e is rated to support gigabit up to 100 meters...... And will in all likely hood support it for farther than that even.

I mean... there is literally no difference. You are just spending more money for nothing. I know its not a lot of price difference, but its literally, 100%, the same thing. The cat 6 cable will just be thicker and harder to bend around corners since it has more insulation. The 5e will support the full speed of your network, be thinner and easier to route.
