The best way to learn HTML is just taking a template and messing about with it, changing things and seeing what it does.

There are plenty of website builders, Wix, Webs and a few others but they have their branding on them. Still alright if you're new to it all.

Since you're relatively new to the game, I would highly recommend trying out Wordpress. It's probably the most used and reliable content management system (CMS), combined with wonderful themes people make. You might want to search for 'drag and drop Wordpress themes', since you possess no knowledge in HTML/CSS - this will basically allow you to drop and design content boxes as you like with ease.

A web domain and hosting is needed. Some hosts make it relatively easy to install Wordpress with one-click CMS install. You just need to start somewhere, practice makes perfect - reading a PDF or book would not be the best idea.. but rather trying things yourself, and correcting mistakes made.

What I would recommenced  is using wysiwyg (what you see is what you got) e.g. Serif Web Plus or Dreamweaver. But with Dreamweaver you can use simple stuff like images and text but nothing to major but with Serif Web Plus, EVERYTHING is simple and I would recommend you use it tbh.

Another solution would be to download a php template from e,g, http://www.templatemonster.com/ , www.freewebsitetemplates.com/‎ , www.templatemo.com/

and open index.html in Dreamweaver and delete and edit stuff you want.

All in all, an attack may more may not happen. It depends on the business you do or don't And how big of a business we are talking about. Mom and pop in the hill country of west Texas, probably will never receive an attack. If your big like google. An attack is likely but google has things in place so that you never see a down home page. I wouldn't worry about it. Also it sounds like you will be hosting with a company so they will handle all the hardware and technical stuff people go the get a college education for.

wow guys thank you for the helpful posts much appreciated, now i was wondering how easy would be to keep maintenance and keep the site very secure from attacks.

Running maintenance is generally simple, but it's down to you mostly. Keeping backups, making the site as efficient as possible by using the right CMS is beneficial. As for attacks, that is all dependent on the host you have your website on. Some offer denial of service protection, some don't. I wouldn't recommend hosting from home either, you'd be shooting yourself in the foot if your site ever becomes under attack.

Without programming knowledge means try to build your website by using web builder service. For build your website you should need your own domain name after that you can  build your website and then finally you can launch your website through web host.If you have any idea to build website for small medium of business means no need to go web designing service, website builder service is the best option. Most of the providers offers free website builder service along with your web hosting package like 9CubeHosting.com  So you can save your cost and double benefit. In this service includes some features like Content and Design Separation,Complete control over color schemes,Layout templates,On-the-fly image generation,One-click publishing etc..Using this service,i easily created my own unique, professional-looking website in 10 to 15 minutes.
