Hey,

So I just upgraded my Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 10 Home keeping all my data and softwares.

Now I actually want to get a fresh start and factory reset Windows 10.

When I go to Settings->Updating and Protection->Recovery->Recover computer to default settings (these may be written in other way, I just translated them from Finnish) the computer restarts and opens up with screen where I can select my keyboard input language or something. The problem there is that my optical mouse's sensor light doesn't have light on and my keyboard does not react to commands so there is no way to select from options given. When I left- or rightclick my mouse button, the light blinks.

I tried already to re-plug my mouse and keyboard.

Is there any solution for this or better/easier way to do this fresh install?

Thank you so much!

EDIT: If I download Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's website https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and run Clean Install from there what happens to my current license key? Do I lose it or get some problems activating it?

I had Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM

Did you try with other mices and keyboards? If it still isn't working, then it must be some setting in the BIOS that isn't allowing the mouse to be initialized first

Yes I just tried with non-USB keyboard and mouse but didn't work. Actually noticed that in that screen where it says I can select keyboard input settings there is no even cursor I could move.

This is really weird.

Umm, Im not sure but if this problem has occurred only after Windows 10 installation then I guess you should try doing a clean install by downloading the ISO from another computer

What happens to my license key then?

Nothing. When they ask for the key just skip it and when Windows connects online it will automatically activate. I guess it verifies that you've already had an activated Windows 10 key by a unique device ID or something

And also make sure the edition is correct otherwise it won't work.
