I'm thinking of building this PC and using it for gaming, streaming, editing and a lot of other things. I also plan on adding a second GPU in the future hence the 1000W PSU. What are people's thoughts on this build?

Wow 32 gigs, remove 16, also 1000W? are you planning on powering an aircraft carrier? :P

Would've gone with a 390x to be honest. Still pretty powerful, and crossfire scales better. Also, extra ram!

I too would have gotten a 390x but i tried to stay close to his initial total. He initially had t32gb of ram so..... i got him a bigger ssd and hdd though.

Added SSD,chanded HDD, more reasonable PSU (850W will be enough for SLI) less RAM, you don't need 32GB, and cheaper MBO, saved 140 pounds :)

@cabosh

I did start looking towards the gaming 7. Is there much difference between the gaming 5 and 7? Is the HDD you chose better than the one I chose? Is 850W enough for 3 of the GPU's I chose (not that I would buy 3 anyway)? Would I be able to fit multiple GPU's inside this case?

The HHD I choose is almost the same and much cheaper, MBOs don't affect performance, gaming 5 should have all the features you want, Z97 doesn't support 3 way SLI, 3 way SLI is also pretty pointless because the scaling and stuttering will be very bad than, that case can fit 2GPUs, you won't be able to use some drive caddies but you don't need them all anyway.

Okay, thanks. Is it worth adding a second GPU in the future?

Yes, unless it is low end GPU or an old one, adding second 980ti should be worth it for over a year, but when you will want to add second GPU just post topic on this forum so we can tell you if it is still worth it :)
