so for christmas im getting a shit load of cash should i get a 980 then or wait till the next nvidia cards come out to upgrade from a xfx amd radeon hd 6570 1gb ddr3

desktop amd fx 8320 10gb ram ocd to 1866, 1tb segate hdd 500gb  toshiba 250 gb segate 60gb ?? 240gb trion sdd xfx amd radeon 6570 750 wat dual 12v rail ultra psu asus M5A97 R2.0

I would say that don´t get a 980 with that i3

Why ask now? There will maybe be new info about upcoming cards than, prices may change as well.

What resolution are you playing at?

right now 1600x900 will go to 1080p

Why wait? The Pascal GPUs are coming next year. Get a 980ti and be done with it. Just not a 980.

ive been thinking of it just need to find the right card manufacturer

I would wait till Pascal or get a 390
