Budget Andorid or Windows tablet?

Nonco

Ive been researching for a while now and cant decide what to buy.

I mainly want something for traveling which is bigger than my phone.

I'm in Australia so the selections are more limited.

I am also trying to keep it cheaper.

There is the Asus T100 which is a windows tablet which is quite a reasonable price here. And also comes with the keyboard attachment.

Then there are tablets like the Samsung Galaxy tabs which are the stand alone tablets running android and no keyboard included and they are only very marginally cheaper than the T100. Or much more expensive if you go for one of the newer model Tab S series.

I'm just a worried that the specs that the T100 offer wont be able to acceptably run Windows 8.1 (or 10 now that's out)

Also I keep seeing like Maximum SD storage for these windows tablets, but as they're windows based wouldn't they just accept any Micro SD storage capacity?

Any advice would be great!
