AustinTheIntern

(Title is meant to be sarcastic, btw)

SO,  My question is: ROG vs MSI G GAMING SERIES. Which one do you prefer?

Yeah just noticed. I prefer ROG since they have a bunch of features that are put on the boards like supreme FX

IF you decide you wanna buy a "gaming" laptop, buy the MSI. Got a ROG one for XMAS a few years back, nothing but trouble. BSOD, overheat, horrible keyboard / trackpad, barely any battery life bah.

Ima buy the ATIV 9 Plus in 2 weeks. 3200x1800 PLS screen 13.3" :D

Was probably just a bad/faulty unit, my friend has one and it never overheats or has problems with it.

They are very reliable.

Wish i went for a Asus then my Alienware M17x R4...

I like the MSI GX70 because it represents a fantastic value, other than that I really don't like gaming notebooks.

Why not? Performance is not bad at all, i run my 29" 2560x1080 off a 7970m, every game i throw at it runs butter smooth with decent settings.

But it's also personal i gues laptop vs desktop, you like it or you don't.

I always hunt for performance/price, so value is always my number 1 priority, and you always end up with a better performing desktop for the same exact budget as a laptop.

Also the process of building your own system has its own charms.

Buuut a gaming laptop is always handy for if you move alot, ofc for home use a desktop is the way to go.

We got 3. 2x G73JH 1x G73JW all of them had the same problem. These things are not worth the shitty plastic they're made of.

Not a fan of the MSI laptops, I like the Asus ones way better. The design reminds me of a F22.

Nope, I see no point in a gaming laptop.
