Looking For an Alternative to Hamachi

EChondo

I'm looking for an alternative to Hamachi, something that is quick and easy to setup, requires no signing up or anything.

I've tried;

-Tunngle

-Garena

-Evolve

-tinc

I don't like any of these since either A. they require an account or B. you need to port forward. I don't want to do port forwarding, I just want to be able to create a VPN and be done with it.

Right now I'm looking at Wippien, Comodo Unite, and LAN Bridger. Does anyone have any personal experience with these? I want something that I can link friends, they download and install it, then they join my created network, that's it and it seems Hamachi is the only one that I can find that works as intended.

If your router supports VPN, then you can setup one on that and let your friends connect to it through Windows built in VPN client.

If you have the intenstion to use the vpn for gaming, try gameranger.

unfortunatly it does require you to create an account, but hear me out. It's really easy to use and doesn't require any ports to be forwarded, just add the game to the list, chose to host new game and gameranger does everything for you. Launch hosts game, creates lobby, launches other players game and makes them join. I've had other then a couple of little difficulties no problems with it.

I guess he doesn't want to open a port for security reasons and not because it is to hard.

I used Wippien for a little while when Hamachi was hating me.  It works well.

I think I went back to Hamachi just because it's a little cleaner and easier to use.  But Wippien isn't bad.
