xfx r9 280x crashes

Hyperdragon

Hey. I've posted about this a while back but every time my new xfx R9 280X tries to do something even remotely intensive like run for more than 30 min or watch a full screen 1080p YouTube video, or play a simple 3D games. there will be a loud buzz and white vertical lines and it forces me to manually restart my pc. please help.

i think it might be temp. because when i up the fans in afterburner to 100% it gets better but it still makes me un-easy, please help

   Specs:

- Intel i5-3570k @ 3.40 GHz

- XFX R9 280X (obvs  :P )

- 8gb RAM

- Asus P8Z77-V lx

- CX600m psu

(any further information needed just ask)

Seriously have you tried to send it for a RMA? It looks defected.

Try downclocking the GPU slightly if it's outside of RMA.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

That could be rather problematic... Try underclocking it, perhaps its an issue only at higher voltages and frequencies.
