Windows 10 BUGS

I downloaded the update yesterday but as soon as i finished it my GFX and bluetooth drivers were missing It took me all night to install them then. After that the CPU and Disk Usage went to 100% and didn't drop making my PC nearly unusable. after finding a solution to that damn problem now i am facing a problem in which all the apps I had installed are missing icons and This PC (Windows Explorer) wont open so that is pain in the ASS. FINDING THE FRIGGIN CONTROL PANEL TOOK ME AN HOUR. and now MY PC IS SLOW  THIS WINDOWS IS BUGGY IT STILL NEEDS DEVELOPMENT AND DAY 1 UPDATES that will remove these things If any one knows a solution kindly help me out.


 


Windows 8.1 was a lot better then Windows 10

Did you search for Control Panel in Cortana search?

Make sure you windows is activated etc, once you key has been activate for use with windows 10, it will have been "upgraded", then you can just use your win 8.1 key for the win 10 install

 

You can get the iso/boot media creator from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

You don't need a key once upgraded. Just skip all the keys requested and it should activate automatically once you have finished the clean install.

Did this for both my PCs.

Drivers are not the issue 

I know how to reset icons in win7&8 but not sure it would work in win10. this si what i do for win7&8

 
-  Starting the Task Manager
-  Ending the explorer.exe process (Right click on explorer.exe -> End process)
-  Opening a command line window (File -> New Task (Run...) -> Type cmd.exe)
-  In the cmd window typencd %userprofile%\appdata\local
-  Now you need to delete the iconcache.db file   del iconcache.db /a   <-----goes in cmd too
-  Exit the cmd window by typing exit
-  Starting the explorer again (File -> New Task (Run...) -> Type explorer.exe)
-  Now you should be able to see the restored icons.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

I installed via upgrade. Checked devices and NOTHING was unrecognized. All the drivers were up to date. So stop complaining as if it's the worst thing in the world :)

I tried it with a .bat file fiven on youtube by some guy it didnt work

Fresh install. It is you not windows. Now only if I could fix my windows boot manager problem

I installed via upgrade. Checked devices and NOTHING was unrecognized. All the drivers were up to date. So stop complaining as if it's the worst thing in the world :)

technically it is if u have a 1mbps internet and 500GB limited HDD space that is filled to the mouth

Try it my way, just make sure you run CMD with administrator rights.

I have not had any problem with win10 at all. I upgraded from 8.1 pro.
