Whenever I buy something online that has to be shipped to me, I get very anxious (Only for something expensive). I just recently bought computer parts that cost me about $1700. They are in shipping and I have checked the tracking about 8 times! xD

 

I think I just get way too excited for new things. Is anyone else like this?

Same but I buy like 99% of my computer stuff from microcenter

 

I wish I could do that as well. There are no stores like that around where I live.. :(

I wish I could do that as well. There are no stores like that around where I live.. :(

Yeah the closest on to me is like 40 minutes away which is annoying if you have to make like 10 trips

I LOVE NEW STUFF. That being said, I'm going crazy. I have enough money to buy my computer but everyone tells me I should wait until I sell this iMac so I'm going stir crazy.

I get super anxious... Even on cheap things. But I don't ever check. I just hope it eventually arrives

I get anxious while waiting for large expensive projects and check the tracking number several times a day for any updates.

 

Not because I'm worried about the shipment, or that excited to receive it. But rather because I know how much time I will roughly need with that project to get it up and running and want to allocate my time and plan accordingly around when it arrives. Estimated shipping times are never accurate where I live.

 

Another issue I'm faced with is the post office not delivering and instead holding a package for a couple days without informing me and then finally marking that I wasn't home when they tried to deliver it as an excuse forcing me to go down and pick it up. By watching the tracking, I'm able to go down to the post office once they scan it in and demand my package before they "attempt to deliver".

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.

All the time, that's why I don't mind paying a little bit more when I find a good retailer, with great aftersales service and secure delivery.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

If you ever have Loomis Express/DHL deliver something to you in Sarnia and you are in an apartment damn right you got to be nervous as the moron delivery guy that handles this area will not delivery properly to apartments.  

As for checking the tracking there is nothing wrong with keeping an eye on where your parcel is and there is nothing wrong with being excited about something you buy if you are going to get lots of enjoyment out of it.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

I don't get anxious and start checking the tracking ID every hour or anything, but I do eagerly wait for the post every day. If I see a courier's van pull up outside, I'm straight to the door with a smile on my face. Though sometimes it's not for me and then I go and sulk back in front of my computer. Haha.
