Or don't use it at all, and get the lighter weight and more supported WinRAR

 

The stable version is going to break less often, but sees a lot less support.

Why? You just have to pay for it in the end. 7zip is better at compression, anyways.

I have used winrar, but 7zip seems faster.

Really, it's down to preference. I bought the damn thing out of convenience and don't regret it.

I'm using the beta currently and haven't had any issues. Of course, I haven't really used it much.

Same here I don't use 7zip that much anyway. I don't deal with zips a lot.
