Posted July 28, 2015 If they're Windows 8 and up computers just link each with your Microsoft account and then use that to login on all of them. Or of course you could just set the passwords to be the same. Not sure about Mac though. † Christian † Use the following style specs in your sig to spread the LTT revolution! Posted July 28, 2015 No you can't combine a Apple or whatever account with a Microsoft account. There isn't a universal one either. Just use the same login info for both and it'll be pretty much the same. † Christian † Use the following style specs in your sig to spread the LTT revolution! Posted July 28, 2015 i started on my mac. i will make a rig folding 24/7 which will be running windows. also i want torun it on my linux laptop. can it all be under my identy? Sure. I don't know exactly what you mean by "identity", but yes. The name of your computer means nothing. But if they are all named the same they can be hard to distinguish on the network (if you want to transfer files to one another). Posted July 28, 2015 windows 7 (unless it stops selling soon) mac os x 10.10 (i think) and ubuntu 15.04. I don't believe there's any universal account for all of those sorry. They're all different companies and have competition with each other so wouldn't really want to merge to make one login for all of them. † Christian † Use the following style specs in your sig to spread the LTT revolution! Posted July 28, 2015 Well, wait. Are you trying to fold under the same name? As in, you want to see how many points you get? If so, you will want to use the same name, and make a password so other people don't claim to be you. But, no, it doesn't "matter", as in it will not negatively affect anything. I hope this is what you are actually asking. Posted July 28, 2015 I think he means using the same Folding@Home ID and passkey on multiple computers. The answer to that is yes, just put the same details in on any of the computers.
