Posted July 28, 2015 I have low standardsYou don't understand I went from a celeron G1620 to using a i5 3450 and it almost tripled my fps in Minecraft.I then went from using onboard graphics to using a 280X and I saw improvements of only 20%. Getting a better GPU will do nothing for your performance in Minecraft, using optifine or getting a better CPU will give you real gains. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/451339-help-me-find-him/
 Posted July 28, 2015 you are not realizing how much minecraft loves a good cpu I was almost certain that I remember someone saying that Minecraft is a little more CPU intensive than your average game.
