Can I put a 7950 bios on my 7970ghz 6gb?

I was wondering, since i believe my card is a dual bios card, that i could put a 7950 bios on my 2nd bios and run it as a 7950 when im not really straining it, and then run it as a 7970ghz when im wanting some extra performance, i dont really overclock myself so again im not really gonna use the 2nd bios for a overclocking settings.

 

if it's possible, would my 7950 use the 6gb of vram or would it use the 3gb of vram that 7950's come with?
