Suggestions for a new laptop (Ultrabook)

Hey folks,

 

Currently looking to buy a new ultrabook with 2 in mind and hope to see your recommendations to which one is better and why, also throw me some other suggestions. I am currently looking at the Chromebook Pixel and Dell XPS 13 (Developer Edition?)

So I am looking for a slim, light, good looking laptop with the main purpose to use whilst on the go. First thing is I have 40GB of tethered data on my mobile tariff so the constant need to access the internet on Chrome OS is no worry at all, since we are on the topic of Chrome OS I haven't used the OS before so it will be a small learning curve. Anything around £1000 is ok. It will be mainly used for multimedia and web browsing with the occasional word processing and coding.

No chrome pixel. Please. Get an xps 13. It is  a great laptop.
