This is really pissing me off. I have been getting this error after the 44.0.2403.89 m update. Now with the 44.0.2403.107 m, my extensions crash on start up after turning on my computer. I get this error about 40% of the pages I open, even the new tab menu, chrome settings etc. Another problem I have been experiencing is sometimes pages don't even load until I either type it in again or continue to refresh it until it loads. I posted my problem on the Google Chrome forums but left with no working solution and no actual support from Google or people who know what they are talking about.

I checked my ram usage and I don't see any problems or memory leaks so I'm unsure. And yes, I tried the solutions Google has listed on their support/help page about this error.

My question here is does anyone have a working solution? Is anyone here experiencing the same problem?

Windows 8.1 64bit

16GB ram

everything is up to date

Thanks.

Have you tried entirely reinstalling chrome?

have you tried disabling all your addons?

Yes.

Reinstalling doesn't reset settings if you sign back in. Try restoring Chrome's defaults. If it works while not signed in but doesn't while you are then something is tripping out with your account.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Yeah, I've got this today....thought I was having some memory errors, but now that atleast 1 other person has had it starting now, its looking more like its software.

I also am on Version 44.0.2403.107 m, "only" 8GB of RAM but nowhere near its limit. 3-5 tabs open max. Win 8.1 upto date etcetc

Yeah I have tried that as it one of the listed solutions. I removed my account folder and restored chrome to it's defaults. At this point I swear it's the software.

I just noticed I've been getting a lot of "He's Dead Jim" errors as well, and very randomly. I too am on the latest version, and god knows I have enough RAM (12GB, but some applications *cough*Vegas*cough* use more swap than I have).
