Mac & Windows on PC

Hey,

So im gonna build a pc for my birthday, and Am stepping over to pc from mac. I am quite used to mac for video editing and know stuff more on mac than on windows.

You probably know of bootcamp on mac, if not heres an explanation. Bootcamp is kind of a software that can partition your drive into 2 different pieces. 1 partition can be booted to go into Windows and 1 into the mac OS. Basically you have 2 OS's one 1 hard drive but partitioned for each OS.

You can get into the different OS through the boot menu.

Is it possible to do something like this on a pc?

Hackintosh, maybe you can bootcamp a Hackintosh. If you can, you'll have the option b/w Windows and OS X at startup.

No Hackintosh is Mac OS X on a system that wasn't made by Apple. It works depending on the components you use. Bootcamp is a program for Mac OS X that allows you to use Windows on a Macintosh, one that was actaully made by Apple. Assuming that bootcamp can be installed on a Hackintosh, Mac OS X would be your main system but you could also have Windows boot.
