You don't think the i5-4690k will be a bottleneck?

nope.

in some cases the 4690k can organize work load better than a 4790k

Do you think the expansion to two 980 Ti's is worth the price? (I can never get enough performance)

Thanks in advance,

Chickenpuffball

Do you have a 1440p 144hz monitor, OR a 4k monitor?

Otherwise...no

If I buy another 980 Ti I will probably buy another 60Hz 1440p monitor.

You're fine with a 4690k.

nope.

I literally have no idea how this works. Care to explain :)

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Don't even bother

at that res/refresh rate all you're doing is throwing your money away

get a better monitor, then talk about a 2nd 980TI

Will the i5-4690k bottleneck two 980 Ti's? I am asking this because I recently built a PC with an i5-4690k and a 980 Ti. Do you think the expansion to two 980 Ti's is worth the price? (I can never get enough performance)

Thanks in advance,

Chickenpuffball

Second GTX980 Ti should be fine. You might run in to problem if you decide to add the third card.

1.No

2. 1x 980Ti is enough to kill everything you throw at it.
