I would like to know the cheapest computer that I can buy and is not second-hand. Small size is better.

There are Intel Atom boards and Android devices for TV, but I do not know them well. I prefer Linux devices (usually X86), but an Android option is okay if it is cheaper. I do not want to rely on battery, because I can use power cable.

It will be used mainly for watching things on the TV of the living room. It includes Netflix, Youtube, mp4/mkv/avi videos and any web-based thing. It will be used during many hours a day, so it cannot get heat.

Raspberry Pi is technically a computer, despite being a sort of awesome splice between an ARM computer and a microcontroller. If that counts then it takes the cake. Other than that I would say the x86-based Intel Compute Stick and the desktop OS-capable Zenfone 2 are probably the more powerful inexpensive computers if you're not looking to get some cheap atom-based PCs off of Alibaba (because those are the cheapest)

Here are you options (they are probably more, but those are the more common ones), ignoring ChromeOS devices because I see no point into them. You can find Windows powered machine for the same price or less with the same specs.. and you know.. you can do anything you want:

-> As mentioned, the Intel compute sticks.

-> Raspberry Pi 2 with Linux (you can use Windows 10, but it can run only 1 app.. so it will be like Netflix.. and nothing else. No start menu, no desktop, no file explorer, no nothing)

-> HP Stream 11/14 as also mentioned above

-> If you have a laptop or a smart phone already that supports Miracast (check your wireless card specs), you can use Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter.... it's a Wireless Display Adapter as the name proudly describes it. It is 60$, I have it, and it is the best cheapest Miracast divide you can get. Competes again 150$ ones. Easy to setup, keeps screen aspect ratio (great for phones), support Windows 8 and above, Windows Phone (of course), and Android phones that has a miracast compatible wireless card. Support extended display, TV only, and clone, just like a normal dual screen setup.

They are other cheaper devices, like the HP Stream 7, or the Asus VivoTab 8 both floating at 100-150$, but they don't have a display out connector for monitor/TV use. Unles you are willing to go in no name brands, basically, and risk and actually expect an ultra crap product.
