I am in the progress of making a $800 build if you have any other builds/suggestions.

Requirements 

-$800 cannadian

-Can run arma 3 on Standard to high settings.

I'd drop the 16GB RAM and spend a bit more on your GPU.

even still the improved performance wont be enough to beat an i3 with 8gb

I really don't think you'd need 16GB. Get 8GB and a better GPU, or save a bit more and get both.

honestly, save up some more money and buy my build. don't get the corsair cx series psu. they will explode your shit.
