i second this!

if you're feeling lucky, you can (sometimes) flash a 290 to a 290x. overclock.net has a thread about that here

If you can spare it i'd upgrade the CPU to a 8350, but if you cant the 290 will be fine, i was running a gtx 970 in a 6300 for a while and still getting smooth(60+ fps) gameplay on high

I dont have the money for a new CPU. Looking at reviews Fx-6300 is not a bad cpu for budget PCs.

R9 290x/290 was just what i wanted but a wattage 750 is insane.

I have corsair cx600 power supply.

And i dont have the money for power supply.

I'd get GTX 960. You can't go AMD because an FX-series processor doesn't handle the DirectX11 overhead well for AMD cards. Here is a great GTX 960 4GB card for $210:

You get the best tech support in the business in EVGA and the SSC is supposed to be a pretty nice cooler. And a gemcode for the new Metal Gear Solid when it comes out.

Never use website specs as a guide, a spec list once recommended a 550W power supply for a 960, which is silly.
