Its fake because:

1) pole's too thin to grip on 

2) it's placed in front of a door (next thing you want is luke falling onto you)

3) the distance between the landing and the pole's too much and somone could easily slip and fall hard.

4) Also Linus did say in the WAN show why they can't put a fire pole in their new office, so yeah its fake

 

It's not happening and its time we moved on
