Hi! What fps can I get if I record GTA V, BF4, and other games with dxtory at 30 fps? The game will be at max settings 2 msaa and no adv. graphics on. The cpu will be either a 4590 or 4460. Sorry if im asking too much!

Thanks :)

@PierreCCesario

Well, you would see a bit of a drop, not much though...

It's more cpu dependant,

Bu't you should not see a big FPS difference

I'm guessing a 10% fps drop?

Probably even less,

Just make sure you have :

A fast hard drive ( 7200rpm at least )

A fast CPU ( I have a 5820k, so I can't really compare to you, for me the performance loss is un noticeable )

Not too high settings in DxTory ( 1080p 30fps is what I would recommend )

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

You should not lose much, follow JackFrags tips here, and download  the Matrox codec, very little / no frame drop recording at 1080p 60

Oo interesting! Hopefully file sizes are manageable.

They get very big very fast,

as I said, you're going to need a big fast hdd, at least a 1tb 7200rpm dedicated to recording.

Also having your games / boot drive be the same as the recording drive is not a good idea

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

They are not tiny but should not be too bad, depends on quality settings really

Agreed here!

But with new driver 15.7, that is no longer possible..

What? Why would AMD do that?
