Hi! I'm building a PC next month and my budget is $800. Is the PSU enough? And can it be improved? Gonna be purchasing it on the 13th or 14th of August so I got plenty of time to decide which parts to get :)

Yes, PSU is good and will handle those specs no problem.

 

Too bad you couldnt cram SSD in there but I suppose you are planing to add that later on?

Eh, I'd suggest going with Asus or Gigabyte, preferably Sapphire, for the GPU. XFX coolers as of lately have been sub-par and you could end up with higher temps :/

I could get the Asus R9 290 DirectCU II for the same price , but are you sure it's better than the XFX? I really love the design of the XFX and reviews say that it's not that bad at cooling (Less temp , more noise) But I don't really mind it because I have my headphones on all the time.

If you're buying after August 5th, you might as well be getting DDR4 RAM, Z170 board and a Skylake CPU.
