Does anyone know how the tiers (Like the nickname you get) works? Just wondering.

Do you mean on your profile page like this?

If you mean like the nickname above the avatar to the left (Mine is London's Finest) you pick those out yourself :)

 

You just need to reach 500 posts 1st then it's easy to change in your settings!

Member "levels" (under nickname) are based on post count. Except when you hit 500 and can make one yourself. The green bar in profile is based on likes. They haven't revealed the scale of that to prevent like-begging.
