I've got the RM750 and it works fine, completely silent and stuff :D . Other will hate on RM series (not RMi series) because of the capacitors but it's fine really.

EDIT: Yes it is expensive and I wouldn't get it if you're paying RRP. I payed a total of £70 for mine incl. P&P.

Pretty great, nice and quiet.  And the people claiming Corsair PSU's aren't very good clearly have never used one.  Been using one for around 2-3 years now, no issues.

Eh. No, if you ask me. I'd go with an EVGA G2/G1 650 if anything.

G2 (would have to be 750) yes, G1 no.

GS 650/550 is good.

It's not Corsair PSUs, it's specific PSUs. They do have some very good ones, but the RM series is not good for the price. It's marketed as super high end, but it's not.

@OP It's good, but it's not good for the price.

Its not that they're bad, its that you can generally get a better value from another company. EVGA in particular beats them in almost every area, unless you have some specific needs.

And do you have any suggestions for other fully modular 650w psu's?

No, they're decent PSUs. It's just that they're priced too high. People buy them thinking that they're worth the cost, probably because of Corsair's name and reputation.

For a bit less, you can get a superior G2 PSU from EVGA, or a P2 version for only a little more.

What brands do they have? Preferable ones would be likes of Antec, Seasonic, Super Flower, XFX

For the same price as the RM650 this is definitely a better choice: https://www.alternate.nl/Antec/EDG650-Voeding-/html/product/1143834?tk=7&lk=9530

If you don't want to spend as much, and don't need full modular or 80+ gold, then these are also good choices
