More fans on NZXT H440

So today I bough a NZXT H440 case to replace my older Corsair 240, and I noticed on the back their is a fan splitter. All the pre installed case fans are silent and run smoothly with no problems, but I was wondering if I attach more fans (2) to the spitter will they run at max speed all the time ? And does that mean all the case fans are also running maxed all the time? Just need a bit of insite on that splitter back there. Thanks :D

Yes, since the hub is for 3pin fans, all fans connected to it run at full RPMs ;)

Ok cool thanks are there any down sides to running full all the time? Like I can replace if they ware out but does running full decrease life span? Would getting a fan controller be better?
