i keep hearing audio phrases on youtube video like LOWS, MIDS and HIGHS when they talk about audio and headphones, but does it mean

They refer to the frequency of the sound; low meaning bass, mids are the middle of the frequency range, and high is top of the frequency range.

They refer to the frequency of soundwaves.

Lows are things that you feel, like thumps, rumbles, booms - the bass instruments like drums, low strings, bass drops in dubstep/electronica. People use terms like "impact" or "punch" to describe bass.

Mids are above the bass, and are where vocals and most other instruments produce sound. Words used to describe the midrange include "fullness" and "presence" (e.g. the music feels close/farther away). When you talk with someone one the phone, you are hearing mostly midrange frequencies.

Highs are are the top end of the audible spectrum and are made up mostly of the upper range of a few instruments - cymbals, violins, vocal transients like 's' sounds, or jangling keys. You'll hear audio with a lot of highs described as "bright" or conversely "warm".

think food network for nerds.  The reality is who knows what any of them mean, and it depends on the person giving the review.  They have specific definitions to audio engineers, however:
