Well you can get the  almost identical model for $300-400 from china. They may go a few miles an hour slower but hell for $1400 savings lol

The IO Hawk's are bound to come down in price sooner or later, its just fairly new tech so its gonna stay pricey for a while, kinda like VR.

What would you really use a segway for ? i live in the us and Ive never seen someone personally own and use one. Mall Cops and Tourist places only.

As for my recommendation, really any is fine, but I wouldn't get one cause they're super expensive and aren't as much fun as you think they are after a while.
